This is a repeating class with 2 sessions this month: Thursday August 20 Thursday August 27 Price includes both sessions: $50 -------------------------- Anna is a professional oil painter and watercolor artist who has shown at firehouse gallery and was named the Best in Show Runner Up for the Best Of Memphis in 2014. She has a BFA in Painting with concentrations in Oil Paint and Watercolor from Memphis College of Art. She is currently a Talented Visual Art teacher for EBR Schools. She uses an open studio approach to teaching art techniques so everyone will leave with an original painting of their chosen subject matter. |

Oil Painting With Anna! -Adult Lessons-
This is an intro to oil painting class. If you have ever wanted to try oil painting before this would be a great plate to start!
Come jump into the exciting world of oil painting with this beginning oil painting course! This is an open studio style class where everyone will make something different while learning the same techniques! You will learn how different mediums and oils affect the paint differently as well as how to use a split complimentary color pallet!
If you have ever thought about trying oils but didn't know what supplies to purchase or where to start this is the class for you! All materials will be provided!
No experience necessary!
This is a two class intro
The first class will be August 22, 2020
The second class will be August 29, 2020
You will finish 1 16x20 canvas or wood panel painting! Both options are gallery wrapped and will not need to be framed.
Canvas: $250

Watercolor 101!
Tired of your watercolors running together when you use them? Come learn how to use watercolors and how to make that paint do what you want!
Dive into watercolors and learn how to control watercolor to make a variety of washes and other watercolor techniques! Come explore brush control through watercolors in your choice of either a landscape painting or an animal painting!
No experience necessary! This is a BYOB class!
You will create multiple small studies to learn techniques as well as one larger painting 16x20!
This class is two sessions:
The first class is September 5th
The second class is September 12th!
