Known for their use of 7 and 8 string guitars, Worthy of the Crown describes their music as progressive metalcore with a side of electronic harmonies and at times dishes out brutal deathcore style riffs and amazing breakdowns which keeps the listener coming back for more. In the end you are presented with beautiful harmonies, bone chilling breakdowns, and technical riffs. � Worthy of the Crown is unsigned as of 2022 but has proven that they can get music to the masses through DIY and a lot of hard work. They are all blue collar workers from all over the country looking to play a phenomenal show for everyone in the metal community!!

It started with frustration, and soon turned into love. After years of Joey and Chris trying to start a band as co-guitarists, frustrations overflowed into a new project. That new project took the shape of Loss Is Growth. This is when the two decided Joey was best suited for the role as frontman, and Chris as guitarist. Loss Is Growth details topics such as death, loss, and mortality, while presenting an uplifting and promising twist of hope. After solidifying a sound, the two wrote some singles before recruiting drummer Rodney along for the next EP. The three got into a groove and produced a crowd favorite Hater, leading to the creation of Family Ties. The EP works through personal relationships, hardships, and family struggles, but again offers a bit of a promising future to compliment the pain. In Between working on a third record, the band individually put a few songs and covers together, compiling them into “The In Between”, to be released March 25th 2022. The band wishes to connect you with the love you have, be it in others, in yourself, or in the world around you. We all possess the ability to cultivate love, create meaning, and find enjoyment in our lives. We love you infinitely, Joey, Chris, Rodney

Led by former Smile Empty Soul and 12 Stones bassist Jody Linnell, the heavy rock/metal band TRANSIENT is rounded out by seasoned musicians. Based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, the project began as a solo endeavor, but after about a year Linnell decided to recruit good friends from his regional area to complete the lineup.
The band consists of Jody Linnell (guitar, bass), Trey J. Mollo (vocals), Emmett Shumate (guitar), and Phil Krohn (drums). Linnell has not only been in the previously mentioned bands, he has also performed in multiple local bands over the past several years. Each of the other members have done regional projects and are veterans of their respective scenes.
After forming in 2020 and getting the lineup together, the band went in to record with Jonathan Dolese at KonKrete Studios in Kenner, Louisiana. TRANSIENT’s debut single “Nightmare” along with its official music video, which premiered on the Dreambound YouTube Channel, were released on October 18th, 2020. |
