Dear Friend of the St. Augustine Catholic Church, On behalf of the St. Augustine Catholic Church family in New Roads, Louisiana, I humbly extend this greeting to inform you of our upcoming Bazaar, an old-fashioned Church Fair, titled: We Are Family. The event will take place on Saturday, October 4 – Sunday, October 5, 2025 and will be held on the church grounds. Traditionally, for 80 plus years, it was customary for St. Augustine Catholic Church to hold an annual church fair to raise funds for the church. The last annual event documented was under the leadership of the late Father Lowell Case during the fall of 2005. The decision to return to this time-honored tradition of church fund raising holds both historical and sentimental value for multiple generations of St. Augustine parishioners and is long overdue. What can you expect? The St. Augustine Church Bazaar is a family-friendly event with the entire community in mind. We will have a variety of activities for both children and adults, vendors, lots of good food, music, and entertainment. There will be something for everyone! For up-to-date information, continue to visit our website. We look forward to seeing you at the Church Bazaar! Yours in Christ, Reverend Joseph Benjamin, SSJ St. Augustine Catholic Church
