George Bell and Friends
Join George Bell and Friends for a special one-night-only Evening of Holiday Jazz at the beautiful Manship Theatre. This special November performance will be filmed by Louisiana Public Broadcasting for a statewide broadcast on LPB HD, premiering Monday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m. For this special performance, George will be joined by GB & Friends veterans Herman Jackson on drums, Harry Anderson on bass, Andy Bourgeois on piano and keyboards, Dr. Greg Ward on percussion and harmonica, and Ray Mouton on guitar, along with a host of other supporting artists from his past shows. You do not want to miss this wonderful opportunity to witness this once-in-a-lifetime musical event. Special guest again this year is recording artist Quiana Lynell, winner of the 2017 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocalist Contest. Quiana's soul-stirring performance of "O Holy Night," accompanied by Trenise Gautier on harp, displayed her classically trained, four-octave range and created one of the most memorable musical moments of the evening. Please join us for what promises to be an unforgettable musical experience that will be preserved for future generations of jazz lovers. NOTE: George Bell will also be presenting his Holiday Jazz show on December 12th and 13th at Manship Theatre. Stay tuned for tickets to go on sale for those performances.
