Federales Fest is back in Baton Rouge for its second year, highlighting our southern musical roots with national, regional, and local acts. “The music fest your mama warned you about…” offers a perfect blend of Country, Rock-n-Roll, and Americana, with a touch of south of the border flair. The event will take place at the stunning Live Oak at Cedar Lodge on Saturday October 5th from 12:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The second installment of this festival will include the following artists: Whitey Morgan and the 78’s, Dragon Smoke, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Taylor Hunnicutt, The Southside Roosters, The Love.Craft Band, and Biscuits & Gravy. Adding to the event will be cuisine from various food vendors with a southern accent. Federales Fest is presented by Williamson Eye Center and makes its return on Saturday, October 5th. Tickets for the general public go on sale on Monday, July 1st at 9am and are available for purchase at federalesfest.com. General Admission tickets are $75/ea, and there are a limited number of VIP Experience tickets available for $200/ea, which will include complimentary food and beverages throughout the day. Proceeds from Federales Fest will benefit Be Positive, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that seeks to support and develop the next generation of Louisiana artists, chefs, and musicians. Be Positive will be hosting/sponsoring the two opening acts for the event: 1.) Biscuits & Gravy (an all kids band from Baton Rouge Music Studios) and 2.)
